IP mediator
Evžen Martínek has a wide range of knowledge in the field of intellectual property law (IP) and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He received a certificate from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) upon graduation from an advanced quarterly mediation and arbitration course and from a mediation and arbitration workshop with the support of the Intellectual Property Protection Association (AIPPI) and the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI). He has certificates from a number of other trainings in the mediation of intellectual property disputes and commercial disputes, such as the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) conference on IP mediation, etc. He also holds a certificate from the Institute for Mediation and Industrial Relations in Prague as a way of resolving conflicts ", which is accredited by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Since 2007 he has been working at the International and Legal Department of the Industrial Property Office (IPO) in Prague, which is the patent and trademark office of the Czech Republic. Here he deals with European and international industrial property law, which is adopted by the European Patent Organization (EPO), the EU and WIPO. In 2009, he completed a two-year study at the Institute of Industrial Law Education of the Industrial Property Office, devoted to the issues of patents, trademarks, industrial and utility models, copyright, litigation, enforcement of intellectual property rights, patent information and licenses. In addition, he has participated in training events organized by WIPO Academy and EPO Academy in the areas of technology transfer, commercialization and valuation of intellectual property, intellectual property strategies, public-private cooperation in research, development and intellectual property. He is the author of professional articles and studies on industrial property rights. He graduated from Charles University in Prague, where he obtained a master's and doctoral degree. He speaks English and German.
