Lawyer and registered mediator
Jan Ježek is attorney and registered mediator who specialises in intellectual property law. Jan is permanently cooperating attorney with international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang where he acts since 2017 and focuses on the provision of strategic legal services in relation to identification, registration, exercise and enforcement of their intellectual property rights, including representation in negotiations with counter parties, in litigations, in administrative proceedings before the Czech Industrial Property Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and in criminal proceedings.
Next to the intellectual property law, Jan is also specialised in other legal areas, including unfair competition law, media law and regulation of advertisement, electronic communications, consumer protection and gambling, which includes day-to-day advice, support in negotiations and representation in proceedings before administrative bodies and courts.
In 2016, Jan graduated at the Charles University in the Czech Republic and in 2015 completed a year study at the Aarhus University in Denmark. Jan attended also various training and seminars in negotiations, mediation and alternative disputes resolution. Jan provides mediation in Czech or English language.
