Patent law expert
RNDr. Kateřina Hartvichová studied chemistry at the Faculty of Science of Charles University. During her studies and shortly after her studies, she worked as an expert in the research of new catalysts. Since 2003, he has been working in the area of industrial property, especially patents and utility models.
In 2005, she completed a specialization course in the field of industrial property protection at the Institute of Industrial and Legal Education at the Industrial Property Office. In 2006, she passed the Czech patent attorneys exam and in 2012 the European patent attorneys exam. In 2015-2016, she completed the CEIPI Course on Patent Litigation in Europe.
She works as a lecturer at the Institute of European Patent Attorneys (epi) and the International Center for Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) at the University of Strasbourg. She is also a member of the epi Council and the epi Professional Education Committee for the Czech Republic. He is also currently active in the Quality Working Group of the Advisory Body of the European Patent Office.
She is repeatedly listed as a recommended patent expert in the global IAM Patent 1000 ranking.
