M.Sc. Kateřina Verostová, LL.M.

Lawyer and registered mediator

Mgr. Kateřina Verostová, LL.M. graduated from the Faculty of Law of Palacký University in Olomouc (Mgr.) and the Faculty of Law of Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main (LL.M.). Since May 2016, Kateřina has been an independent attorney registered in the list of attorneys maintained by the Czech Bar Association.

From the beginning, his practice has focused primarily on advising in the area of civil law, especially real estate law, commercial law, European law, and out-of-court dispute resolution.


In addition to advocacy, Kateřina is also involved in mediation. After completing mediation training organized by the international training center CMI in cooperation with the Anglo-American University, ops successfully passed the mediator exams organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic and since 2013 she has been registered in the list of mediators maintained by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic.

Given that in addition to her native Czech, Kateřina also speaks German, Kateřina completed several internships in German law firms across Germany, specializing primarily in providing legal advice in the areas of development and medical law, EU law, and banking law, in addition to her studies at Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main (master's thesis focused on mediation). Thanks to this experience, Kateřina also provides comprehensive legal advice to German-speaking clients.

Kateřina further expanded her study horizons by completing the LSE Negotiation Programme at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2019) and the International Business Law 2024 summer school at the University of Copenhagen, focusing, among other things, on mediation and other methods of alternative dispute resolution.

In view of her international activities, she is a member of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) and IPBA (Inter-Pacific Bar Association).
