I am very pleased that the IP Mediation Centre, following the autumn Mediation course for patent attorneys, organized a Fitness Mediation course, in which we had the opportunity to practice mediation in a very intensive way. Thanks to the smaller number of participants, we had the opportunity to try several mediation cases, both in the position of mediator and in the position of the disputing party. We gained a lot of new knowledge, experience and feedback. All this in a pleasant environment of the IP mediation centre and under the guidance of an experienced mediator and lecturer, Tereza Hanajová.
Ing. Michaela Švihlíková, Patent Attorney (Trademarks and Designs)

Hello, Doctor, thank you for sending the certificate of completion of the Mediation Course for Patent Attorneys, which in my opinion was very successful. I think we were lucky to be able to complete it in person and it was a very useful and pleasant diversification of this difficult period. It's great that we were able to learn from the approach to mediation and the experience of really great lecturers and test our knowledge in practice. I will be happy to attend any further training or meetings in this area. Thank you again, I wish you good health, growing successes and I look forward to seeing you again sometime.
Mgr. Alžběta Jurtíková, patent attorney

Dear Doctor, I would like to express my admiration for organizing a specialized study of IP mediators. The fact that you were able to involve experienced employees of the Industrial Property Office in this study and together you prepared very interesting lectures is extremely deserving. The course and content of the training exceeded my expectations, and whenever one of my fellow lawyers visited my office during the lecture, I was a little jealous of the opportunity. If you agree, I would like to inform the management of the Czech Bar Association about your great deed. JUDr. Jiří Navrátil, lawyer and registered mediator

In the spring, the IP Mediation Centre Prague was established, a registered institute which, in cooperation with the Czech Bar Association - ADR Section and the Industrial Property Office, trained the first IP mediators who are now professionally prepared to conduct demanding disputes in the field of intellectual property protection, especially industrial property rights. It was a very intensive training of lawyers - registered mediators who were trained by qualified employees of the Industrial Property Office and cooperating experts in the field of industrial rights protection. The benefit of establishing this Mediation Centre is indisputable and its success will certainly convince the participants about the usefulness of alternative types of proceedings, especially mediation. The seminars were characterized by a high level and great success with mediators' lawyers. Through its establishment and cooperation with EUIPO and WIPO in connection with the connection with lawyers, mediators and mediation in the Czech Republic is once again being compared to the world.
