Mgr. Jan Ježek

Attorney and registered mediator

Jan Ježek (*1990) is a lawyer and registered mediator specializing in intellectual property law. Jan is a permanent associate at the international law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, where he has been working since 2017 and focuses on strategically providing legal services to clients in identifying, registering, enforcing and protecting intellectual property rights, including representing clients in negotiations with counterparties, in court proceedings, as well as in administrative proceedings before the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic or the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and in criminal proceedings.

 

In addition to intellectual property law, Jan also focuses on other legal areas, including unfair competition law, media law and advertising regulation, electronic communications, consumer protection and gambling, which includes daily consulting, as well as representing clients in negotiations and proceedings before administrative authorities and courts.

 

Jan graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in the Czech Republic in 2016 and completed a one-year study at Aarhus University in Denmark in 2015. Jan has also completed a number of training courses in negotiation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Jan provides mediation in Czech or English.
