Mgr. Simona Hejdová

Patent attorney and lawyer

Mgr. Simona Hejdová is a patent attorney (since 2004) and attorney-at-law (since 2007). She worked for many years at the Industrial Property Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and also completed internships at the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), where she gained extensive experience in the field of trademark registration, litigation and legislation. She has also completed a number of training courses in the fields of negotiation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution.


She is a recognized expert in intellectual property, commercial law and litigation. Thanks to her extensive experience, she is able to propose an effective, understandable and fast strategy for the protection and enforcement of rights for both start-up entrepreneurs and established and renowned companies or entities from the public sector. Her strength is also representing clients in contentious proceedings, whether they concern authorities or courts. She is always sincerely interested in the story behind each case. Clients appreciate her diligence and enthusiasm in litigation and out-of-court negotiations. They also say that she sees things in context and is often able to find a way where others do not.


Simona Hejdová is the co-founder and managing partner of the law and patent office Pluto legal sro, which focuses mainly on contentious and contractual matters in the areas of industrial property rights, trademarks, unfair competition, copyright, personality rights, software law, cybersecurity, and e-commerce.


She is also engaged in training and lecturing activities. She is a co-author of the Commentary on the Trademark Act: KOUKAL, P., CHARVÁT, R., HEJDOVÁ, S., ČERNÝ, M. Trademark Act. Commentary. Prague: Wolters Kluwer, as, 2017.
