IP Mediation Centre in Prague, a registered institute, is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise awareness of intellectual property (IP) protection, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises, in the field of research, development, innovation and transfer of knowledge into the application sphere. At the same time, we want to promote the possibilities of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in this area, especially in the form of mediation. The mediation is a way of peaceful settlement of disputes and conflicts, which aims agreement. In the field of IP, it is the settlement of highly professional disagreements and disputes that arise in relation to the creation, application and evaluation of intellectual property objects.

The institute runs socially useful activities in the field of intellectual property protection
IP Mediation Centre in Prague provides SMEs, as well as colleges, universities, research and development organizations, the professional public from among inventors and other interested parties with knowledge about the protection of intellectual property, know-how and trade secrets, as well as unfair competition, and methods Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), in particular through mediation.
IP Mediation Centre in Prague gathers knowledge support mainly from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Organization (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the Industrial Property Office (IPO) in the field of intellectual property protection and dispute resolution related through mediation (ADR).
IP Mediation Centre in Prague provides lectures and publications in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and intellectual property protection, conducts research activities in cooperation with universities and research organizations in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and intellectual property protection.
IP Mediation Centre in Prague provides experts in the field of intellectual property protection and trains them in the field of intellectual property in cooperation with WIPO, EPO, EUIPO and IPO, and organizes and technically supports the implementation of mediation in the field of intellectual property protection through trained mediators.

Let me express my joy and satisfaction with the establishment of the IP Mediation Centre in Prague, a registered institute which, in cooperation with the Czech Bar Association - ADR Section and the Industrial Property Office, trained the first IP mediators who are now professionally prepared to conduct demanding intellectual property disputes, especially industrial property rights.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Board of Trustees is composed of experts who pay particular attention to maintaining the purpose for which the institute was established and to the proper management of its assets. The Board of Trustees approves the budget, the regular and extraordinary financial statements and the annual report of the Institute. It decides on the start of operation of a commercial plant or other ancillary activities of the institute or on the change of its subject. The Board of Trustees has three members, and the term of office of a member of the Board of Trustees is five years.
